The present invention provides a transmission service method for content generated in a screen golf system, and a method for controlling a mobile terminal for the content transmission service. While a golf game is in progress via a screen golf system, which implements an image associated with a virtual golf course and simulates a trajectory of a ball in the virtual golf course when a golf shot is taken against the image, and one player plays the game by taking a golf shot, the present invention allows another player to transmit, by means of his or her own mobile terminal and the like, particular content associated with the play of the player taking the golf shot and to have the particular content displayed on the screen, thus allowing the players enjoying virtual golf to create a variety of elements for amusement among themselves during the progression of the golf game, instead of merely taking golf shots monotonously while playing the golf game, and thereby allowing greater interest to be generated for the golf game.
