A transmission status report apparatus, method, and communication system. The transmission status report method comprises: acquiring information on transmission speed difference and/or information on scheduling time delay difference between multiple radio links; information on transmission speed difference is obtained on the basis of radio link transmission status information of a successfully transmitted PDCP-layer data packet, and information on scheduling time delay difference is obtained on the basis of radio link transmission status information of a sent RLC-layer data packet. Thus, the present invention can provide an accurate reference basis for a send-side determination of whether a current network is suitable for retransmission, can better balance the pros and cons of wasted wireless resources and decreasing time delay differences in a multi-connection retransmission mode, and configure a more suitable data transmission mode or traffic control mode.
