Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of wireless communications. Disclosed are a transmission switching method, a terminal, and a network side device. The transmission switching method in the embodiments of the present application comprises: a source base station sends a first instruction to a network side device, wherein the network side device comprises a target base station and/or a core network function; the first instruction is used for requesting a terminal to switch from the source base station to the target base station; the first instruction comprises service information of a first service; the service information of the first service is used for determining that the target base station is in or is not in a service area corresponding to the first service.
