Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of improving shift operability by shortening the push-through stroke of synchronizer rings. The leading end of the chamfers (45) of a synchronizer ring (40): has a surface (43) for accommodating the edge (26) of a chamfer (25) of a sleeve (21); and forms a trapezoidal shape in a planar view that is orthogonal to a perpendicular plane passing through the rotation axis line. Moreover, the leading end of the chamfers: is obtained from a first chamfer (45a) formed on the outer circumference side of a boundary ridge line (44), which is positioned at a specified height from the base of the splines of the synchronizer ring (40), and a second chamfer (45b) formed on the inner circumference side of the boundary ridge line (44) and having a smaller ridge line angle than the ridge line angle of the first chamfer (45a); and forms a trapezoidal shape in side view with respect to a perpendicular plane passing through the rotation axis line.
