Abstract:
This transmission system which accommodates a first communication system communication line and a second communication system communication line which communicate using time division duplexing is provided with: a relay unit which acts as a relay for uplink signals and downlink signals in the first and second communication systems; a time division duplexing information estimating unit which estimates a transmission stop period during which the uplink signal of the first communication system is not being transmitted; an estimation error detecting unit which detects, on the basis of the uplink signal or the downlink signal in the first communication system, that the estimate of the transmission stop period is incorrect; and a bandwidth allocating unit which, if the estimate of the transmission stop period is incorrect, prioritizes allocation of bandwidth in the relay unit to the uplink signal of the first communication system over allocation of bandwidth in the relay unit to the uplink signal of the second communication system.
