Abstract:

The present invention relates a transmission, and more particularly, to a transmission which automatically shifts gears without a clutch. According to one aspect of the present invention, the transmission includes: an input shaft receiving rotational force so as to rotate; an input shaft gear disposed on the input shaft; a turbine converting torque from the input shaft into rotation; an input carrier coupled to the turbine and configured to allow the input shaft to revolve; a planetary gear coupled to the input shaft gear and having the input carrier inserted into the planetary gear; an input ring gear in which the planetary gear is coupled; first and second transmission carriers coupled to the input ring gear and allowing the input shaft to revolve; a first one-way bearing having a fixed outer portion and an inner portion that is rotatable in one direction; a first transmission gear coupled to the inside of the first one-way bearing; a first differential gear coupled to the first transmission gear and in which the first transmission carrier is inserted; a second one-way bearing having an inner portion coupled to the input shaft and an outer portion that is rotatable only at an input rpm or less; a second transmission gear coupled to the outer portion of the second one-way bearing; a second differential gear coupled to the second transmission gear and the first differential gear and in which the second transmission carrier is inserted; an output ring gear to which the second differential gear is coupled; and an output shaft coupled to the output ring gear.
