Abstract:
Provided is a transmission such that mechanical strength requirements can be reduced and the impacts and noise in a shifting device can be reduced. In the transmission, an engagement part (48) is coupled to a mobile member (34) provided with second teeth (35) that engage first teeth (32) provided to a gear (24). The engagement part moves in a first axial direction due to the rotary motion of a first cam (68) and moves in a second axial direction due to the rotary motion of a second cam (76), and elastic force is generated in a spring (53) in association with the movement of the engagement part. The first cam is still when the engagement part is in contact therewith and the spring causes a third part (58) to exert thrust on the mobile member in the second axial direction, but rotates when a second part (56) is caused to exert thrust on the mobile member in the second axial direction.
