Abstract:
In order to provide a transmissive screen with which it is possible to maintain image sharpness, without adversely affecting the uniformity of exiting light exiting the screen, this transmissive screen 40 has a microlens array base material 50 which has a first surface 51 provided with a microlens array 54 including a plurality of microlenses, and a light-diffusing base material 60 which has a second surface 61 provided with a light-diffusing surface. The transmissive screen is characterized in that the first surface 51 of the microlens array base material 50 where the microlens array is provided and the second surface 61 of the light-diffusing base material 60 where the light-diffusing surface is provided are arranged facing one another.
