Abstract:

A transmissive screen (362) comprises a first lens array surface (382a) having a plurality of first microlenses (383a) disposed thereon, and a second lens array surface (382b) provided vertically away from the first lens array surface (382a) and having a plurality of second microlenses (383b) disposed thereon, the second microlenses formed into a shape different from the shape of the first microlenses (383a). The contour near the apex of the first microlenses (383a) has a circular or elliptical shape, whereas the contour near the apex of the second microlenses (383b) has an elliptical shape with an ellipticity different from the contour of the first microlenses (383a).
