Abstract:
An OFDM-based wireless communication system according to the disclosed one aspect relates to an OFDM transmitter and a wireless communication system including the same, and a data transmission/reception method thereof, wherein: OFDM data, a protection period of which has been changed, is transmitted, so that a data transfer rate can be increased and during transmission of initial data, the occurrence of inter symbol interference (ISI) caused by pre-echo can be reduced; and a channel can be stably estimated before completion of a fine symbol timing offset (STO), so that data discarded in initial transmission can be reduced.
