Abstract:
A transmitting device (101) according to the present invention is provided with: an acquisition unit (121) that acquires the consumption power of each of a plurality of power loads; a communication unit (125) that transmits data based on the consumption power over a network to a server; and a control unit (127) that acquires the congestion degree of the network. The control unit (127) determines the degree of importance of the data on the basis of the congestion degree, and controls the communication unit (125) such that transmission of data having a high degree of importance is prioritized.
