TRANSMITTING DEVICE, RECEIVING DEVICE, AND NON-CONTACT CHARGING METHOD

Provided are non-contact transmitting and receiving devices and a non-contact charging method for simultaneously charging the receiving devices that receives different powers. Variable information is referred that is associated with a combination of devices and varies the resonance frequency or the Q value of a resonance circuit included in a receiving unit of each of the devices. Variable information is selected that makes the resonance frequency of the resonance circuit of a device having the maximum charging power be equal to a transmitting frequency. Variable information is selected that varies the resonance frequency of the resonance circuit in the receiving unit of each of the devices except for the device having the maximum charging power so that charging power corresponding to the each of the devices except for the device having the maximum charging power can be supplied from transmitting power. The variable information corresponding to each of the devices having receiving devices is transmitted. The resonance frequencies of the resonance circuits are varied, and each of the efficiencies associated with identification information is referred. The obtained charging power and efficiency corresponding to each of the devices are multiplied, the multiplied values are summed up to obtain the transmitting power, and the obtained transmitting power is transmitted at a transmitting frequency.
