Abstract:
Provided is a novel transparent adhesive material capable of uniformly diffusing light even if light guide plates and so forth, which are designed considering the difference in refractive indexes of the air layer interface, are brought into close contact with each other to thus prevent variation in luminance of a screen. A sheet-like transparent adhesive material is characterized in that the difference (∆nD1 = nDb − nDair) between the refractive index (nDb) on one surface (b) of the transparent adhesive material and the refractive index (1.00, nDair) of air is equal to or less than 0.45, and the difference (∆nD2 = nDa − nDb) between the refractive index (nDb) on one surface (b) of the transparent adhesive material and the refractive index (nDa) on the other surface (a) is greater than or equal to 0.04.
