Abstract:
Tin oxide containing 0.1 to 20 wt% antimony (Sb) is almost white and shows excellent conductivity. A coating composition for antistatic use is obtained by mixing powder of this Sb-containing tin oxide having a particle size of 0.4 (Alpha)m or less with a binder resin in a definite proportion. This coating composition can be applied to non-conductive substrates of electronic or electric parts, construction materials or the like to give an antistatic effect without spoiling the color tone of the substrates.
