Abstract:
Disclosed is a transparent conductive film that meets the various requisites sought for use in multi-junction solar cells, i.e., good optical transparency, high electrical conduction, and low refractive index, etc., and allows for decreased running costs by being fabricated without the use of vacuum film formation methods. The transparent conductive film for solar cells is disposed between photoelectric conversion layers of multi-junction solar cells, is made by sintering a particulate coating film, applied using a wet application technique, and is characterized by there being in the range of 5‑95% mass conductive component present in the base material that configures the conductive film and by the thickness of the conductive film being in the range of 5‑200 nm.
