Abstract:

The present invention relates to: transparent disk-shaped microparticles surface-modified with polydopamine; and cell culturing using the same. When cells are cultured using disk-shaped microparticles coated with polydopamine according to the present invention, cell adhesion property is excellent, and cells can be observed with an inverted microscope such that the microparticles are greatly advantageous over conventional spherical microparticles.
