A transparent display, comprising a lower polarizer (10), a first substrate (11), a liquid crystal layer (12), a second substrate (13) and an upper polarizer (14) successively arranged in a stacked manner. The transparent display comprises a plurality of transparent areas (15) and a plurality of display areas (16) alternately arranged with the plurality of transparent areas (15) in a direction parallel to an image display plane of the transparent display. A baffle (17) is arranged between each transparent area (15) and the adjacent display area (16) thereof within the liquid crystal layer (12). The baffle (17) is connected between the first substrate (11) and the second substrate (13) so as to isolate liquid crystals corresponding to the transparent area (15) and the display area (16). The initial direction of the longer axis of the liquid crystal located in the transparent area (15) is perpendicular to the initial direction of the longer axis of the liquid crystal located in the display area (16).
