Abstract:
A transparent double-sided display apparatus and a drive method therefor. A display panel (100) of the transparent double-sided display apparatus is provided with a plurality of sub-pixel groups (120) comprising a front-side OLED sub-pixel (121), a reverse-side OLED sub-pixel (122) and an electrowetting sub-pixel (123), and a plurality of multiplexing modules (130) comprising three thin-film transistors (T1, T2, T3). A time sequence controller (300) is used to control the multiplexing modules (130) and a source driver (200), so that the source driver (200) respectively writes a front-side output data signal and a reverse-side output data signal into the front-side OLED sub-pixel (121) and the reverse-side OLED sub-pixel (122) and applies a reference voltage (Vref) to the electrowetting sub-pixel (123); and the electrowetting sub-pixel (123) is controlled to be transparent or lightproof by means of a voltage value of the reference voltage (Vref) output by a voltage control module to the source driver (200) under the control of the time sequence controller (300), so that transparent display and double-sided display can be achieved at the same time.
