Abstract:
Disclosed is a transparent electrically-conductive substrate which can achieve both high transmittance and low resistivity and therefore has excellent properties.  Also disclosed is a method for producing a transparent electrically-conductive substrate.  Further disclosed is an electrochemical display element.  The method for producing a transparent electrically-conductive substrate comprises the steps of: forming a patterned metal electrode film on a transparent substrate; forming an intermediate layer having electrical conductivity on at least the metal electrode film; and forming a transparent electrically-conductive film on the transparent substrate on which the intermediate layer has been formed.
