Abstract:
The present invention configures an organic EL element comprising a light scattering layer which contains 80% or more of spherical particles each having a particle aspect ratio of 2 or higher, which has a thickness greater than the average particle diameter of the particles, and in which the particle existence rate of the particles in a region on a resin base material side with respect to the center in the thickness direction of the light scattering layer is higher than the particle existence rate of the particles in a region on a transparent electroconductive film side with respect to the center in the thickness direction, and thus, an organic EL element of which luminous efficiency and reliability can be improved is provided.
