Abstract:
In the present invention, a transparent electrode comprises the following: a transparent substrate; a scattering layer disposed on one principal surface of the transparent substrate; a metal oxide layer disposed on one principal surface of the transparent substrate via the scattering layer; an organic layer disposed on one principal surface of the transparent substrate via the metal oxide layer; and a metal layer that is formed from silver or an alloy the primary component of which is silver, and that is disposed on one principal surface of the transparent substrate via the organic layer.
