Abstract:
This transparent heater comprises: a substrate 2 that has a surface (2a) and transmits visible light; and an electroconductive layer (3) that is provided on the surface, transmits visible light, and includes an aggregate of carbon nanotubes. The electroconductive layer has: a patterned portion (4) including a linear part (4a) that extends and expands linearly in a first direction (D1) parallel to the surface; and a film-form non-patterned portion (5) that is continuous with the patterned portion in a second direction (D2), which is parallel to the surface and orthogonal to the first direction, and that has a lower thickness than the patterned portion in a third direction (D3), which is orthogonal to the surface. The orientation direction of the carbon nanotubes in the non-patterned portion, as measured using an orientation evaluation method performed through image processing of an electron microscope image, forms an angle of less than 45 degrees relative to the second direction.
