Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a transparent heating element for eye protectors, such as snowmobile goggles, ski goggles, and motorcycle goggles, provided with lenses, wherein a transparent heating element having a dried body or calcined body of conductive ink or paste is formed on a surface of a transparent base constituting the lenses of an eye protector and the opposite surface thereof is treated with an anti-fog coating; and a method for manufacturing a transparent heating element for eye protectors. The transparent heating element can be provided, whereby, on at least the surface of the transparent base, a lattice film having a line width of 2.5-20 µm and a pitch of 0.1-5.0 mm is formed of the dried body or calcined body of the conductive ink or conductive paste, the surface resistance thereof being 10-50 (Ω/cm2), and the light transmittance of a portion that excludes the transparent base being 90%, wherein the lattice film is configured such that the surface resistance of the surface, on which the dried body or calcined body of the conductive ink or conductive paste is formed, is partially changed by a change in the lattice pitch, and thus the transparent base secures visibility for goggles, and the transparent heating element has the dried body or calcined body of the conductive ink or conductive paste that can be formed to have a desired resistance.
