Abstract:
A transparent light guide plate unlikely to cause interference fringes in a transmissive display device is provided inexpensively and by using a simple design. This transparent light guide plate reflects incident light, from inner spherical surfaces of a plurality of light-reflective protrusions provided on a rear surface thereof, and emits said incident light from the surface thereof. This transparent light guide plate comprises a light-transmitting light guide base material and a light-reflective member pasted to the rear surface side of the light guide base material. A plurality of light-reflective protrusions are formed on an outside surface of the light-reflective member, same being formed regularly in a prescribed arrangement pattern in two-dimensional directions along mutually orthogonal x and y directions. The light-reflective member is pasted such that the x and y directions of this arrangement pattern are inclined relative to the side surface of the light guide base material.
