Abstract:
The present application relates to a transparent, robust, and self-cleaning organic glass, comprising a matrix and a polysilazane functional layer. The polysilazane functional layer is chemically bonded to an active hydrogen functional group distributed on at least one side surface of the matrix. The active hydrogen functional group is distributed on the surface of the matrix by means of a copolymerization reaction between an unsaturated monomer comprising the active hydrogen functional group, and a methyl methacrylate monomer used for preparing the matrix. The present application further relates to a manufacturing method for the transparent, robust, and self-cleaning organic glass. The active hydrogen functional group is uniformly or relatively uniformly distributed on the surface of the matrix by means of a copolymerization reaction between an unsaturated monomer comprising the active hydrogen functional group, and a methyl methacrylate monomer, is fixed in position, and is not free. Moreover, the polysilazane functional layer is chemically bonded to the active hydrogen functional group, so that a transparent functional layer which has the properties of ceramics and is firmly bonded can be formed on the surface of the matrix to obtain the transparent and self-cleaning organic glass, which has the robust characteristics of high hardness, wear resistance, flame retardance, etc.
