[Problem] To provide a reverse type transparent screen in which an image is easily observed from a projection side of a projector but difficult to observe for a user positioned on the opposite side to the projection side of the projector. [Solution] This transparent screen having a visible light transmitting property displays a color image content, generated by a projector, on a projection side of the projector, the transparent screen being provided with a layer structure comprising: a light scattering layer with a visible light transmitting property and a visible light scattering property, the light scattering layer having the ability to form a projected image of the image content; and a visible light-reflecting layer with a visible light reflectivity of 10%-45% from the projection side of the projector, the visible light-reflecting layer having the ability to form a mirror image of the projected image, wherein the light scattering layer is composed of a layer having a medium and visible light-scattering particulates dispersed in the medium, and the visible light-reflecting layer has a visible light absorbing property and attenuates the forward-scattering of the projected image which has passed through a reflection interface of the visible light-reflecting layer and formed on the light scattering layer.
