Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a transparent screen that can establish both visibility of projected light and visibility of transmitted light by anisotropic scattering and reflection of projected light output by a light source. [Solution] The transparent screen is provided with a light diffusion layer that includes a binder and microparticles, and is characterized in that, letting Y be luminance in an XYZ colorimetric system measured by a multi-angle spectrophotometer, a scattered light luminance profile satisfies the following conditions A - C: A: when incident light luminance is set at 100, the relative luminance of exiting light in the 0° direction is 50 - 95, B: when the relative luminance of exiting light in the 0° direction is set at 100, the relative luminance of exiting light in ± 5° directions is 1.1 or less, and C: when the relative luminance of exiting light in the 0° direction is set at 100, the relative luminance of exiting light in ± 50° directions is 0.0005 or greater.
