Description:
TRANSPARENT AND SOUND-PROOF TELEPHONE BOOTH

The Related Art

The invention relates to telephone boots.

The invention particularly relates to visually enhanced telephone boots with enhanced sound isolation used in high noise and sound atmosphere such as entertainment locations, fair areas, concert areas, stadiums, shopping centres, airports, seminar/conference halls, busy streets etc.

Background of the Related Art

Several telephone boot embodiments have been developed for the purpose of doing telephone calls. The said boots of the existing embodiments consist of one boot containing one telephone maintained ready by the implementing operator and one person area. The walls and floors of the telephone boots consist of wooden or metal based panel. The boots consist of one sheet plate of isolation feature and easy to mount, and a glass located in the centre of the plates and providing visibility for surrounding visibility. In various embpdiments, there are also booths of open lower part and closed upper part protecting only the telephone part against environmental effects.

The application no.US2270939 entitled "soundproof wall" discloses additional panels connected to in-booth walls and floor in order to enhance sound isolation of the booth. The patent application no.US756091 and entitled "telephone cabinet" discloses a telephone cabinet wherein door part consists of foldable plates. The patent application no.US931502 and entitled "storm door" discloses a sliding door in telephone cabinets. Similarly, the patent application no. US1780251 and entitled "Telephone booth" discloses a door embodiment in a cylindrical telephone booth. The mobile phone which is one of mobile communication means has become the basic communication means today. Upon spread of mobile phone use, quiet ambiences are needed to make calls easily. Particularly, about 99% of immediate needs, emergency case information and/or help calls have been made through mobile phones in metropolitan areas. In this context, crowded, high sound and noisy ambiences do not allow social purposed and emergency calls. Especially, difficulties are encountered in communication by telephone in highly attended events and crowded streets. The existing telephone booths in high sound entertainment locations, night clubs, concert halls, football games, fairs fail to provide adequate insulation. The fact that the telephone cabinets in crowded and enclosed locations are stuffy and hot minimizes the preference to talk in the booths. Since the existing telephone boxes contains a telephone with fixed line and are used in outdoor locations such as street, roads, airports etc., they are not convenient for mobile phone use. Other disadvantages are non-existence of them in adequate numbers in crowded locations, not having adequate sound insulation and air-conditioning equipment. Following increase in use of mobile phones, personal technical needs such as charging, updating, interactive solution seeking, banking transactions etc. have occurred.

Purpose of the Invention

From current status of the related art, the purpose of the invention is to eliminate the existing disadvantages by means of improvements made in telephone booths used for telephone calls in public ambience.

Another purpose of the invention is to provide a visually enhanced telephone booth with enhanced sound isolation used in high noise and sound atmosphere such as entertainment locations, fair areas, concert areas, stadiums, shopping centres, airports, seminar/conference halls, busy streets etc. A further purpose of the invention is to provide a telephone booth capable for use in public, crowded, high sound and noisy ambiences where sound communication is not likely.

A further purpose of the invention is to enhance the sound insulation of the telephone booths. A further purpose of the invention is to provide air conditioning in the telephone booths. Another purpose of the invention is to provide technical support such as charging, updating, interactive solution for telephone booths.

A further purpose of the invention is to provide technical requirements such as charging, updating, interactive solution for mobile phones. Another purpose of the invention is to meet personal needs such as banking transactions.

A further purpose of the invention is to provide air conditioning in the telephone booths. Thus telephone booths will also make trade benefits. Another purpose of the invention is to provide telephone booths in the form capable to display integrity with the ambience where they are located .

In order to achieve the said purposes, novelties in transparent and soundproof telephone booths consisting of at least one booth used in telephone calls in public ambience, at least one wall, ceiling and door located on the said booth has been realized.

A preferred embodiment of the invention consists of at least one transparent wall made of non-breakable, non-scratchable, inflammable and transparent materials, located the said booth in order to ensure high insulation of the said booth in high sound and noisy ambiences and to ensure, adaptation to the location design. Thus the atmosphere needed for use of mobile telephones is provided. A preferred embodiment of the invention consists of at least one transparent panel made of phosphorous or transparent material of illuminated and located on the said booth. Description of Figures
