Abstract:
A transport apparatus and a transport method for a glass substrate. The transport apparatus comprises a transport channel, a correction mechanism and a pressure reducing mechanism. The transport channel is used for loading and transporting the glass substrate; the correction mechanism is used for correcting a position of the glass substrate during transport; and the pressure reducing mechanism, arranged in cooperation with the correction mechanism, is used for generating acting force on the glass substrate when the correction mechanism corrects the position of the glass substrate, in order to reduce friction between the transport channel and the glass substrate. The transport apparatus can effectively prevent a problem of wearing or breaking the glass substrate during correction and improve a product yield rate of the glass substrate.
