Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a transport block size (TBS) determination method and apparatus. The method comprises: a first terminal device receiving first information from a second terminal device; determining TBS of the first information according to a first number of frequency domain resource units, the first number of frequency domain resource units n'PRB satisfying [Equation 1], [Equation 2] representing a second number of frequency domain resource units, and [Equation 2] being a positive integer. By means of the present method, the TBS of the first information is determined according to the first number of frequency domain resource units, and the first number of frequency domain resource units is determined according to the second number of frequency domain resource units, which is a positive integer, so that the TBS corresponding to each of the initial transmission and retransmission of the first information may be kept consistent, and HARQ merging failure of data received multiple times may be avoided, improving data decoding accuracy, and improving data decoding efficiency.
