Abstract:
The present invention relates to a transport box for live fish and shellfish. The present invention comprises: a body (10) made up of a container means (11) designed to hold live fish and shellfish together with water and of a covering means (12) designed to be able to seal and close the container means (11) after putting the live fish/shellfish and water (W) into the container means (11); an air inlet (20) opened in the upper part of the body (10) such that oxygen can be introduced into a space (S) within the body (10) sealed by the covering means (12); a water drainage pipe (30), one end of which is exposed outside the body (10) so that the water (W) held within the body (10)can be discharged by the pressure of the oxygen put into the body (10) through the air inlet (20), and the other end of which is provided passing through the body (10) so as to be able to be submerged under the water (W) held within the body (10). Therefore, as water and live fish and shellfish can be carried in a relatively small package, with the body in which the same are held filled with oxygen under high pressure, the present invention enables the implementation of innovative logistic methods for live fish and shellfish, such as direct delivery of small quantities of live fish and shellfish to consumers conveniently and cheaply by parcel service or the like while maintaining high levels of freshness.
