Abstract:
Provided is a transport chain which can have a small diameter when disposed in a ring shape.
A transport chain 1 provided with: inner plates 3 and outer plates 2, the inner and outer plates 3, 2 being connected alternately through pins 10; and holding sections 7 having recesses 7d for holding tools or tool pots, the holding sections 7 being provided in the pins 10, wherein the transport chain 1 is characterized in that the recesses 7d are recessed in the axial direction of the pins 10. The tools or the tool pots are inserted in and removed from the recesses 7d in the axial direction of the pins 10.
