Abstract:

　Provided are a transport conveyor that can be designed to be compact in the width direction, while being adaptable to situations in which the transport direction of a downstream conveyor differs from its own transport direction; and a conveyor unit equipped with this transport conveyor. A second transport winder (9), a first relay winder (10), and a second relay winder are swingably supported about a longitudinal axis center (X1) lying along the vertical direction, situated at the far end of the transport conveyor (5) in the transport direction. An interlock mechanism for bringing about interlocking swing of the second transport winder (9), the first relay winder (10), and the second relay winder is provided for the purpose of swinging the second transport winder (9) and the second relay winder in unison about the longitudinal axis center (X1), and swinging the first relay winder (10) about the longitudinal axis center (X1) in the direction of swing of the second transport winder (9) and the second relay winder, to a greater extent than the amount of swing of the second transport winder (9) and the second relay winder.
