Abstract:
Provided is a transport jig that, when transporting a double-row self-aligning roller bearing (2) having a center rib (4a), prevents damage to rolling elements (6) which are wrapped together with the double-row self-aligning roller bearing (2) using a sheet-like wrapping material (3). A transport jig (1) is formed in a ring shape having an inner diameter and an outer diameter so as to fit between the outer circumferential surface of an end of an inner race (4) of the double-row self-aligning roller bearing (2) and the inner circumferential surface of an end of an outer race (5) of the double-row self-aligning roller bearing (2). The transport jig has a shape such that one lateral surface thereof comes into contact with an end surface of each rolling element (6) of the double-row self-aligning roller bearing (2), and the other lateral surface thereof protrudes past the end surfaces of the bearing inner and outer races (4, 5), and the transport jig is formed of a material that is softer than that of the rolling elements.
