Abstract:
A portable transport structure and a reinforcing structure for a flexible pallet are disclosed. The portable transport structure (100-900) includes a flexible base support (102, 202), at least one tunnel (104, 702a-c, 802a-c, 804a-b, 902a-c), and at least one arcuate reinforcing member (106) locatable within said at least one tunnel. The at least one tunnel has flexible walls (110a, 110b) provided on the base support. The at least one arcuate reinforcing member is adapted to be resiliently positioned in said tunnel. The reinforcing structure includes at least one tunnel and at least one arcuate reinforcing member adapted to be resiliently positioned in the tunnel. The transport structure is compact, recyclable, easy to fabricate and effective in handling loads.
