Title:
TRANSPORT SYSTEM CAPABLE OF RECHARGING VEHICLES WHILE IN MOTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/065233
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is an electric vehicle transport system that is capable of reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, a perennial issue that has lately become the most significant factor in damage to the environment, resulting from burning gasoline, kerosene, and other fossil fuels in vehicles that emit large quantities of CO2, as well as preventing falling asleep at the wheel or inattentive driving through the adoption of automated operation. The system is intended for widespread adoption by reducing costs through the inclusion of small storage cells storage cell-powered vehicles. Rails carrying electrical charges are laid upon roadways, allowing charging only upon rails that are positioned where vehicles pass. The rails are also grounded for safety, avoiding leakages of current even when it rains, allowing vehicles to recharge while in motion, and facilitating long-distance driving even with storage cell-powered vehicles. The system uses a single rail, permitting significant leeway in vehicle operation, and the electricity that is obtained from the rails will allow reliable operation, driving motors, switching on lights in darkness, heating in winter, cooling in summer, and additionally reducing CO2 emissions, while also charging storage cells, to the extent that rails are available.
