Abstract:
The invention relates to ship building and to the creation of transport trimarans for the transportation of large-sized loads. The middle hull of the trimaran is connected to the side hulls with the help of inter-hull attachments which can be retractable. Ship power equipment and steering devices are placed either in all hulls or in the side hulls only. Depending on their construction the trimarans can be loaded and unloaded through bow and stern bilge doors, through opening flaps of a bottom as well as by attaching and detaching either a part of the side hull or the entire hull entirely. The use of submerged interhull wings increases the ability of the trimaran to navigate through ice and shoal water.
