Abstract:

Provided are a transportation device for transporting cargo comprising plate-shaped heavy objects such as a thick plate and the like, and a transportation system using the same. The transportation device comprises: a device body part; a device driving part provided to drive the device body part; and a cargo loading part provided to enable self loading of the cargo in the device body part. According to the present invention, the total transportation (distribution) time for loading, transporting, and unloading the cargo is largely reduced by rapidly loading and transporting plate-shaped heavy objects, for example a thick plate of a steel mill, without using additional loading/unloading equipment or a pallet (cassette), and particularly, improves transportation efficiency or productivity by providing a smooth transportation environment and remarkably reduces costs.
