Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a transportation device that is provided for a device for manufacturing liquid crystal display panels and that transports liquid crystal cells. The transportation device comprises: a driving means; a drive transmitting means; a plurality of drive shafts that receive rotation from the driving means via the drive transmitting means by way of one end being connected to the drive transmitting means so as to be arranged into a plurality of rows at intervals along the transport direction for the liquid crystal cells; a plurality of transport rollers that are provided at intervals on the plurality of drive shafts and that constitute a transport face on which the liquid crystal cells are supported and transported; and bearings that supports the other end of each of the plurality of drive shafts so that the plurality of drive shafts can rotate. The interval between two adjacent transport rollers from among the plurality of transport rollers that are closest to the center in a direction perpendicular to the transport direction of the liquid crystal cells on the transport face is larger than the interval of any other adjacent transport rollers and smaller than a prescribed interval.
