Title:
TRANSPORTATION ROUTE HAVING FENCING FOR INSTALLATION OF ELECTRICITY STORAGE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/077426
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] Conventional storage batteries are generally large and thus require space, and because storage batteries are grouped to form electricity storage facilities, the occurrence of an earthquake at the site of such a facility can make the supply of power impossible. [Solution] In the present invention, fencing is configured having secondary batteries installed therein. Thus enabled is the installation of secondary batteries along infrastructure such as roads and railways so that the likes of road and railway management companies, electricity companies, and communications companies can use the same sites and provide facilities. The installation of the secondary batteries in unprofitable railway lines and roads in sparsely populated areas would become a source of income and would also have effects leading to the retention of the infrastructure facilities. Furthermore, because it would be possible to send employees from the respective companies to inspect the same sites, it would be possible to reduce the management costs for each company and ensure efficient human resources.
