Abstract:
Provided is a transportation system whereby it is possible to improve the storability of items and to efficiently transport the items. Also provided is a controller. A transportation system (1) is provided with movement racks (10a to 10h) disposed in a moveable manner, stock conveyors (20a, 20b) disposed along a refrigeration chamber (F) and a front chamber (A), a storage conveyor (30) connected to the stock conveyors (20a, 20b), unmanned transportation vehicles (40a, 40b), and a main controller (100), wherein when items (B) are put in storage, the main controller (100) moves the movement racks (10a to 10h) such that travel paths for the unmanned transportation vehicles (40a, 40b) are formed in front of the movement racks (10a to 10h) for storing the items (B), and activates the storage conveyor (30) so that the items (B) become located along the extension of the travel paths on the storage conveyor (30).
