Abstract:
A transporting box for storing a product (60) in a packaging box (22) in a held state by a cushioning means, comprising the packaging box (22) applied to the product and a protective box (10) formed of a plastic, wood, corrugated fiberboard, or cardboard for protecting the packaging box (22) by surrounding the outer surfaces of the packaging box (22). For example, the protective box (10) is formed of joint members which are disposed at eight crests of a rectangular parallelepiped, each of which has orthogonally arranged three planes, and which are formed with slit-like holding grooves and six flat plate members formed of square-shaped flat plate members and joined to the joint members by inserting both end parts of the sides thereof into the holding grooves formed in the joint members.
