Title:
TRANSVERSE MAGNETIC FLUX INDUCTION MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/139133
Kind Code:
A8
Abstract:
The invention relates to electrical engineering, and more particularly to a transverse magnetic flux induction motor, and can be used in high-speed electric drives, for example, in the timber industry, and in high-speed fans. The present invention is directed toward the technical result of achieving rotor speeds close to that of a double-fed motor (6000 rpm at a mains frequency of 50 Hz). This result is achieved by the use of a stator having a С (П, U)-shaped core of various designs and a rotor in the form of a magnetically and electrically conductive toroidal body connected to a shaft, wherein not less than three cores are spatially arranged at an angle not exceeding 2.2π radians relative to the axis of rotation of the rotor, and are spatially arranged at an angle not exceeding 1.1π radians relative to the line formed by the centre of the circle describing the torus, and the vectors of the magnetic fluxes of the cores, brought to a single point in a single plane, are situated consecutively in a sector not exceeding π radians, which is achieved by connecting the coils to different combinations of phase voltages, linear voltages, or phase and linear voltages.
