Abstract:
This trapped object detection switch 1 comprises one tube-shaped pressure-sensitive detection member 5 having a plurality of electrode wires separated from one another, and a cover member 4 covering the pressure-sensitive detection member. When the cover member 4 is observed in a cross-sectional view, the cover member 4 comprises a base section 4-1, a hollow section 6, and a deforming section 4-2 provided on the base section 4-1 so as to cover the hollow section 6. The pressure-sensitive detection member 5 is disposed in the deforming section 4-2. A receiving section 9 for receiving the pressure-sensitive detection member 5 is disposed on the base section 4-1. With respect to the pressure-sensitive detection member 5, at least two receiving surfaces 9-1, 9-3 are formed in the receiving section 9, each in a position that faces the pressure-sensitive detection member 5.
