Abstract:
Provided are: a trapping determination device for an opening/closing section, the trapping determination device being capable, despite being configured to be extremely simple, of reliably determining trapping without causing false operation even in a vehicle in which the voltage of the electric power source changes drastically; a vehicle provided with the device; and a trapping determination method for an opening/closing section.
The present trapping determination device for an opening/closing section is characterized by being provided with: a sensor for detecting the amount of displacement of an opening/closing section of a vehicle, the opening/closing section being opened and closed by a motor; a time period measurement section for measuring a relative time period adjusted according to a change in the voltage of the electric power source; and a trapping determination section for determining the trapping of a foreign object in the opening/closing section on the basis of a change in a relative speed obtained from a change in the amount of displacement based on the relative time period.
