Abstract:

Provided is a travel assistance device for assisting with the travel of a vehicle, comprising a control unit for: guiding a vehicle, whether the vehicle is a first vehicle or a second vehicle, from a first zone to a third zone on the basis of travel expansion information which is linked to third zone data; guiding the vehicle, if the vehicle is the first vehicle, directly from the first zone to a second zone on the basis of hill climb expansion information linked to the third zone data; and guiding the vehicle, if the vehicle is the second vehicle, from the first zone to the third zone on the basis of the hill climb expansion information linked to the third zone data.
