Abstract:
Disclosed is a travel control device for construction machinery, wherein a travel operation device has a same operation pattern for the forward direction, which a driver observes, regardless of the turning direction. According to the present invention, provided is the travel control device for construction machinery comprising: a lower travel body on which an upper turning body is loaded so as to enable turning; hydraulic pumps; right and left travel motors; right and left hydraulic travel operation levers; position sensing sensors, provided between the lower travel body and the upper turning body so as to face each other, for detecting the turning angle of the upper turning body with respect to the lower travel body in real time; right and left travel control valves, provided to a path between the hydraulic pumps and the travel motors for controlling the starting, stopping and direction-conversion of the travel motors during conversion; a solenoid valve, provided to a path between the travel operation levers and the right and left travel control valves, for converting the right and left travel control valves according to signals output according to the operations of the travel operation levers during conversion; and a controller for outputting control signals to the solenoid valve such that the travel directions according to the operations of the travel operation levers have operation patterns corresponding to the position information of the upper turning body, which is output from the position sensing sensors.
