Abstract:
In the present invention, a travel control device is provided with the following: an anomaly information acquisition unit (81) that acquires information related to detection of an anomaly in a driver of a vehicle (A); a state determination unit (80) that determines, if the detection of the anomaly in the driver continues, that the driver is experiencing difficulty driving; and an evacuation control unit that starts automatic evacuation control to stop the vehicle automatically on the basis of the determination by the state determination unit that the driver is experiencing difficulty driving. Additionally, the travel control device is provided with an assistance control unit (83) that starts driving assistance control which includes at least a function to prevent the car from leaving its lane, during the time period from when the anomaly was detected until it is determined that the driver is experiencing difficulty driving.
