Abstract:
Provided is a travel control device, comprising: a basic travel region setting unit (101) which sets a basic travel region on which the host vehicle is capable of traveling; an external information recognition unit (12) which recognizes an obstacle to be avoided which is present in the basic travel region; a travel region correction unit (103) which, when the obstacle is recognized in the basic travel region by the external information recognition unit (12), corrects the basic travel region on the basis of error evaluation information, which evaluates a recognition error of the external information recognition unit (12), such that the greater the recognition error, the smaller the travel region of the host vehicle in the vicinity of the obstacle; and a target path-target velocity generating unit (104) which generates a target path of the host vehicle within the travel region which is obtained by a correction process from the travel region correction unit (103).
