Abstract:
Provided is a travel control system for a vehicle, which performs vehicle travel control by autonomous driving or driving assistance. The travel control system is provided with: a driver motion measuring instrument (2) that measures the driving motion of a driver; a user anxiety level measuring instrument (4) that measures the level of anxiety of a user; and a travel control device (12) that, when it is determined from the measured level of anxiety of the user that the user is anxious, determines an anxiety factor causing the anxiety on the basis of the characteristic data of the user corresponding to the traveling state of the vehicle and adjusts the level of vehicle travel control on the basis of the determined anxiety factor, thereby changing the vehicle travel control so as to decrease the anxiety of the user.
